What are some possible treatment options for VVA?
We will discuss both hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options including Estrogen Vaginal Application (EVA) via creams tablets or rings, EVA via gentle radio frequency, non-hormonal vaginal moisturisers or lubricants, systemic hormone therapy and more.
What is EVA exactly?
EVA is a safe and effective therapy that provides localised estrogen treatment directly to the vaginal tissues. The estrogen helps to rejuvenate the vaginal lining, increase lubrication, improve elasticity and reduce symptoms associated with VVA. The specific form of estrogen used can vary, and it is typically prescribed based on your own needs and preferences.
What is EVA by RF?
This is EVA therapy with radiofrequency where a specialised device delivers controlled RF energy to the vaginal tissues. The RF energy gently heats the tissue, triggering a natural healing response that promotes collagen production; this helps to improve vaginal lubrication, elasticity, and overall tissue health.
